What Samaj is

Samaj is a free local classifieds platform for Goa and Mangalore. Advertisers publish listings for property, vehicles, services, and general items. Visitors browse freely and contact advertisers directly. Samaj does not participate in negotiations, payments, or transactions between parties.

Who needs an account

Only people posting ads need to register. Browsing and revealing advertiser contact details does not require an account. There are no buyer accounts or connect request workflows.

Listings

All listings go through admin review before appearing publicly. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or in violation of local laws. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the information they provide, and complying with applicable laws including RERA where relevant.

Contact and transactions

Samaj provides a mechanism to reveal advertiser contact details. All communication, negotiation, and payment happens directly between the visitor and the advertiser. Samaj is not a party to any transaction and provides no guarantee about any listing, property, vehicle, service, or item advertised.

Prohibited conduct

You must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings. You must not use the platform to spam, harass, or collect contact information in bulk. Automated access or scraping is not permitted. Listings for prohibited or illegal items, or listings that violate third-party rights, will be removed.

Limitation of liability

Samaj is provided as-is. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this platform, reliance on listing information, or interactions between users. Use your own judgment when contacting advertisers, inspecting properties, or making any payments.

Grievances

Formal complaints under the IT Act or Consumer Protection Act may be submitted via the Grievance page. A reference number will be issued on submission.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Samaj after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Operated by P R Bunyan, Goa, India.
